Something starts around day three or four. Most of it has arrived by day ten. The honest answer is at two weeks.
That gap is where nearly every disappointed patient lives. Someone looks in the mirror on day three, sees very little, and quietly decides it did not work. By the time it has fully settled, the decision has already been made.
What the follow-up is for
At two weeks I can see what the product actually did rather than what it was on its way to doing. Some things I can adjust at that point. Some I cannot, and they wear off. Either way I would much rather hear that you are unhappy at two weeks than read it in a review at four months.
That visit is part of the price of your treatment, along with any adjustment I decide is needed at it. It is not an add-on and you do not need to ask for it.
What is normal in between
- Very little for the first couple of days.
- Small pinpoint marks that settle quickly.
- One side arriving slightly before the other. This is common and it is not the final result.
- A feeling of heaviness in the first week for some people, which generally settles.
The one thing worth doing
Book the follow-up when you book the treatment, not afterwards. The people who skip it are almost always the people who meant to call and did not.
Questions people ask about this
What if I do not like it at two weeks?
Say so. Some of it I can adjust. Some of it I cannot, and it wears off. Both are better conversations to have in person at two weeks.
Is the follow-up an extra charge?
No. It is part of the price of your treatment, and so is any adjustment I decide is needed at it.
