Loose skin has three
different causes.
It shows up along the jaw, under the chin and on the neck, and for most people it is the first change that makes them consider treatment at all.
Here is the part nobody mentions. Three completely different things produce that same appearance, they each need a different treatment, and in a mirror they are almost impossible to tell apart.
If this started after weight loss
This is the most common version of it now. Losing a significant amount of weight, especially quickly and especially on weight loss medication, takes fat out of the face before it comes off anywhere else. So what turns up in the mirror is usually the first two above at the same time: volume gone from the cheeks and midface, and skin that was filled out and has not fully drawn back in.
It also changes the timing, which is the part worth knowing before you spend anything. Skin work is worth starting while the weight is still coming off. Volume work is worth waiting on until the scale has settled, because otherwise you are paying to fill a face that is still changing. Medical weight loss here.
What getting it right looks like

The treatments do not overlap, which is what makes guessing expensive. The right one works. The wrong one can cost four figures, change nothing, and occasionally make the area look heavier than it did.
So this starts with an appointment rather than a booking. I need to see the area in person and feel how the skin moves, because that is the only reliable way to tell which of the three is happening. It is also why QuantumRF and Morpheus8 are not on the booking menu here.

Board-certified family nurse practitioner, Florida Atlantic University, with more than twenty years in medicine before the first syringe. Treatment plans here are individual. The honest number depends on your face, your goals and, for a course, how many sessions it genuinely takes. You hear the whole figure at your consultation, in the room, before you commit to anything.
