Sculptra and Radiesse are not filler.
People book them thinking they are, and then judge them on the timeline of something else. Almost always a series, and I will tell you the honest length of yours first.

What is the actual difference?
Filler occupies space from the day it goes in. A collagen stimulator does not. It works by prompting your own tissue to respond over months. If you walk out looking exactly the same, that is the treatment behaving normally, and it is the single most common misunderstanding I correct in this room.
How long before I see anything?
Generally months, not days, and across a series rather than after one visit. Judging Sculptra at four weeks is judging it at the wrong time.
How many sessions?
It varies, and I will give you the honest number before you start rather than after the first one. If your calendar or your budget will not carry the whole course, I would rather you waited than started it.

- Anyone who wants to see a change this month.
- Anyone who cannot commit to the full series. A half-finished course is money spent on nothing.
- Anyone with an event in the next few months who is expecting this to be ready for it.
- Anyone who actually wants filler. Sometimes the right answer is the other treatment, and I will say so.
Questions people actually ask
Can it be dissolved if I do not like it?
No. Hyaluronidase does nothing to these products. That is precisely why I am conservative with them and why the conversation before the first session is a long one.
Is it more expensive than filler?
Per session it is comparable. Across a full series it is more. What you are buying is a different mechanism, not a cheaper version of the same thing.
